JOLT and fees
JOLT is native asset 0 with 18 decimals. The EVM value balance and native ledger refer to the same cash record. There is no required wrapping or second native balance.
The configured JOLT ERC-20 adapter also uses 18 decimals. Do not add its token balance to the native balance or apply a decimal conversion between them. Porting from other EVM chains covers payments, allowances and WETH router changes.
Cash, claims and reservations
A lending supply position is a claim on pool cash, not cash you can spend twice. Orders may reserve balance, and funded obligations move their principal into a service position. Redemptions must produce actual cash before it can settle a payment or trade.
The configured native-ledger token adapter exposes ERC-20 behavior without duplicating native cash. The privileged adapter precompile at 0x1002 is called by admitted token implementations; it is not a universal token address. Token addresses come from genesis or asset registration.
Gas and sponsorship
EVM gas meters execution. The local development fee profile has zero base fee and returns fee suggestions from recent committed transactions, falling back to 1 gwei when no samples exist. Launch gas/fee calibration is separate work.
Native JZTX sponsorship binds one exact outer transaction. A sponsor pays JOLT gas without gaining authority over the user's value or calls. Account-plan approvals do not independently authorize a debit for a relayer's fees. Stablecoin conversion is not implied by this profile.
Transfer events
Native JOLT movement emits system transfer logs, including internal contract transfers. Configured ERC-20 calls can additionally emit token-identity logs for the same movement. Indexers must choose their accounting stream and avoid counting both as separate deposits. Fees do not emit Transfer logs; failed execution has no transfer logs.
The node's funded vesting and farm services do not establish a final supply, allocation or yield. Tokenomics and vesting explains the presale supply model. No JOLT allocation is final.
